ORDERS, SHIPPING, AND TAXES

All orders placed on ChicJewelry12.com require a combination of order processing time and shipping time. Order processing time is determined by the item(s) that you are ordering. Most items will be shipped free within 2-7 business days however there are some exceptions and we will notify you of any delays by email.

No. We are currently unable to ship internationally.

An adult signature is required for insurance and security reasons and to ensure your purchase arrives safely in your hands. If you are not able to be home to sign for the package, it is possible to make other arrangements.

Preventive Steps

  • Make sure to remove your jewelry when just washing your hands. Soap can leave your gold jewelry with a dull finish little by little and eventually, it becomes harder to clean when soap suds have already built up.
  • Store your gold jewelry properly and separately or in compartments to avoid them from scratching each other. You may add a packet of silica gel inside the usual jewelry box so it absorbs any moisture in the box.

If your gold jewelry eventually looks dull after a long time of use, you can bring it to us or a trusted jeweler so your piece can be thoroughly cleaned by an expert. You do not want to use a store bought jewelry cleaner and end up damaging your precious piece instead of cleaning it. Your jeweler is the best person to give you advice on what to use for cleaning your piece.

Keeping your diamonds clean will allow you to enjoy your diamonds full sparkle and brilliance. Diamonds have an odd trait; they repel water and attract oils like baking goods or makeup. Everyday wear can cause your diamond to look dull and even smaller. Avoid wearing your diamond jewelry during heavy or laborious activities, because although diamonds are the strongest substances they can be chipped, or the jewelry holding the diamonds can be damaged. Also, diamonds can be scratched by other diamonds, try to avoid having them jumbled up together in a jewelry box – keeping them tidy will help. Here are a few tips on keeping your diamond jewelry clean.

Professional Cleaning
Every six months take your ring to an established jeweler or bring to our store and have your ring cleaned and polished. When you have a professional jeweler do this they will inspect your diamond and the mounting to ensure that it has not been chipped or become loose.

Mild Liquid Detergent Soak
Get a small bowl or cup and fill it with warm water and a small amount of mild liquid detergent. With the sudsy water ready, soak your jewelry for about hour, this will break up any dirt and grime on your jewelry. When it is done soaking, take a soft toothbrush and gently scrub your jewelry. After, rinse your jewelry under warm water. Dry with a soft cloth, free of lint. Remember; plug the drain before you begin to ensure your jewelry does not fall down the drain.

The Millimeter is the industry standard unit of measure. By using millimeters, we are able to provide you with the most accurate dimensions. Please see below for approximate conversions to give you a better idea of the item’s dimensions:

  • 3mm is approximately 1/8 inch
  • 6mm is approximately ¼ inch
  • 13mm is approximately ½ inch
  • 19mm is approximately ¾ inch
  • 25mm is approximately 1 inch

Cubic zirconia (also known as CZ) is similar to a diamond with its brilliance and crystal clarity, but it is a synthesized (man-made) crystalline material that is colorless, hard, and flawless. It looks so much like a diamond, it is an affordable alternative to diamonds. It can made in different colors to simulate the different colors of a diamond.

For items purchased in the Chic Jewelry store, please refer to your printed receipt as the return policy may vary based on the item(s) purchased. If you are unable to locate a copy of your receipt, contact us for more information.

For items purchased on ChicJewelry12.com, exchanges are accepted within 3 days of the delivery date. Merchandise must be in new unused condition. All returns require the original sales receipt or a copy. Returns will be credited in the original form of payment. For your convenience, most purchases can also be returned at the Chic Jewelry store in Los Angeles, CA.

You do not need a return authorization. Make a copy of original Invoice or Email order confirmation. Package your item to be returned. We recommend you use the original shipping box, including all original packaging and packing boxes and material. Furthermore, include If your item was delivered with a diamond appraisal certificate, place all the original packaging in the box.

  • You can ship your item to us via FedEx, UPS or US Post Office. Regardless of the courier, you use you need to make sure the package is signature required and insured.
  • We recommend that you securely package your items in original packing materials, fully insured. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  • For security reasons, do not write Jewelry anywhere on the outside of the box and send your return to.

Standard Online Orders – The returned item should be insured for its full value. Chic Jewelry is not responsible for returned merchandise lost or damaged in transit. Original shipping charges will be refunded only if we have sent the wrong item or if the item is defective. Returns by mail or common carrier must be sent to:

Upon receipt of your order, with all the required information and materials, we will either ship a replacement or credit the original purchase in the form of the original payment, based on your request (Please specify in your return package). Credit processing will occur as soon as possible, usually within 3-5 business days of the receipt of merchandise.

For your convenience, ChicJewelry.com purchases may also be returned or exchanged in person at our Los Angeles store location.
